The service combines much of SacWineRegion newspaper with additional material available only on sacwineregion.com. Both SacWineRegion and sacwineregion.com are affiliates of The McClatchy Company.

Your agreement with sacwineregion.com

You understand and agree that, by visiting sacwineregion.com and its affiliated sites, you are accepting, without modification, these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms of Service, your only option is to discontinue use of sacwineregion.com. Note that currently most news articles remain available for 30 days in the pages of sacwineregion.com. SacWineRegion's electronic archives may carry a fee per full-text article downloaded.

Registration

Access to some or all of the content, services and features on sacwineregion.com may require users to register and become Members of sacwineregion.com. In most cases, a print subscription is not necessary to become a Member; however access to certain special content, offers, services and features on sacwineregion.com may require users to both subscribe to SacWineRegion and to register and become Members of sacwineregion.com. Indemnification

Jurisdiction

This agreement between sacwineregion.com and its users will be governed and interpreted under the laws of the state of California. Courts located in Sacramento County, California have jurisdiction in any dispute arising from these Terms of Service. In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be in conflict with the law, such provision shall be restated to reflect the original intent, and all other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

Arbitration

Any legal controversy or legal claim arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or sacwineregion.com, excluding legal action taken by SacWineRegion to obtain an injunction relating to its intellectual property, shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in Sacramento, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered into any court having jurisdiction thereof.

Termination

Notwithstanding any provision of this Terms of Service, sacwineregion.com reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate any or all of the sacwineregion.com service and/or your license to use the sacwineregion.com service, or to block or prevent future access to and use of sacwineregion.com.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms of Service and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
